The Punta Gorda Police Department is pleased to announce a new tool called PowerEngage, designed to keep citizens informed and collect feedback on non-life-threatening calls for service. Soon, we will start sending text message surveys after certain types of interactions with our dispatchers and police officers. Each survey will ask a few questions about your satisfaction with the service provided and also give you the opportunity to provide feedback.
Your feedback is important to us, and we want to know how we are doing. We also want to provide our officers with the appropriate feedback to help them better serve our citizens. Not everyone we are in contact with will receive a survey. Residents who do not want to participate can either not respond to the texts or reply ‘STOP’ to opt out of all future text surveys from the department.
We are hopeful that PowerEngage, our new tool, will significantly enhance the services we provide and the feedback received from the community.
