On Monday, July 15, 2019 the Punta Gorda Police Department responded to the discovery of a vehicle parked behind an empty building located at 10175 Tamiami Trail, with a deceased individual inside. It was determined that the individual was 70 year old Deanna Adams, who had been reported missing by the Charlotte County Sheriff’s Office on July 7, 2019. A full death investigation was conducted and the Medical Examiner’s Office determined that she had died of natural causes.
